Misconceptions in losing weight

All of us want to be healthy and we follow a strict routine on how to keep that perfect bomb shell body. But we need to consider that some of our routines are actually not healthy. There’s a lot of weight loss misconceptions that we need to know and I hope that this will help you realize that you need to change your diet plan.

1. Carbs will make you FAT

No one wants to gain weight because you will not be able to wear your favorite dress and bikinis. Most of you guys think that all food have carbs in it and it will make you fat.Yes, you’re right most of the food you take in have carbs, but those are needed for your body to function properly. The things you need to avoid are the bad carbs from soda, fruit juices, white bread, pastries, cookies, cakes, ice cream, chocolates, candy (sweets), deep fried foods. These foods may be fine in moderation but as much as possible try to avoid it.

2. Less Food Intake and more Fluid

I gotta admit, this was my action plan in losing weight when I was in high school but I HIGHLY don’t recommend it. I only eat a tablespoon of food and the rest of my intake is water. Bottom line, I ended up having anorexia nervosa and I was just 15 at that time. Luckily, I managed to overcome it, anyway, eating less is not healthy for the body. You might get sick or even acquire ulcer. What you need to do is eat healthy foods and avoid the greasy, salty, and processed foods.

3. Eat less is All You Need

Most people think that if you eat less, then you will have that perfect curve that you desire. But you are forgetting one thing, which is exercise. If you really want to lose weight and be healthy, then you better want to add this in your list. Eating healthy foods are not enough, you need to move too. Burning those unwanted fats and sweating them out is one of the key to a healthy life style. Keep in mind that there’s a lot of non expensive exercises that you can do and one of them is jogging.

Being fit is a good thing if you want to have a longer life but you need to consider doing this in a healthy way.
