We have our own reasons why we work and earn money. Others wanted to buy a house, car, go on vacation, purchase expensive clothes, own the latest gadget, spend a lot in plastic surgery. But some people just want to work for survival. Plus, most of the time, others, will juggle two to three jobs to get by.
At the beginning of the year, I am juggling two jobs at the same time. Then, I thought I wanted to earn more money so I was able to get another gig because I am a freelancer. I work for more than 12 hours a day. Moreover, I don’t experience having a day off. At first, it was fun because I can’t believe the amount of money that I’m getting. But I realized it’s not what I really wanted.
Most of us chase a lot of material things and we thought that it will make us happy. But you know what? I realized that spending time with my loved ones is more important. Helping others in the way you can is satisfying than a wad of money.
Life is short and remember to use it wisely. There’s a lot of things that you can do other than working. Don’t waste your time in front of your computer. Self-satisfaction in making others happy is far better than a penny.
